This journal contains the speech by Nez Perce Chief Joseph to United States lawmakers. It is reprinted from the 1879 issue of the North American Review. Mike O’Connor at his Four Peaks Press in Fountain Hills, Arizona, printed an edition of 30 copies. The text is handset in 12 pt. Caslon 337 and printed on an 8x12 Golding Official press–one page at a time. The page size is 6.25x9.25" and printed on Rives Heavyweight (60 pages). The illustration of Chief Joseph is a wood engraving done by APA's own, Gale Mueller. It is signed. The journal is bound in leather and also signed.
